Becoming Cerelia

 Got my car back!
Back to Full Blog

I picked up my car and this trip went smoothly, my AC works (for now). I have a small leak in my condensor and that will probably need replacing. Used it's around $75-$100 and new it's around $150-$200. We'd get a used one of course. The mechanic said it could work for 6 hours, 1 day, 5 weeks, 6 months, or 6 years. You never know how long, however for an extra $20 he put in some dye so we can see it easily if it's leaking and we can always bring it back for him to run tests on it to check on it no matter when it happens for free. I figured that was worth an extra $20.

Well I gotta go, I shouldn't even be on this computer. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I'll be back on Tuesday to catch up with you all. :)

Car ACs are blessing, but often expensive to repair or replace. Good luck with yours.

summer

Hey C~ How are you doing? Your Sweetie sounded really great on the phone tonight. Nice to hear!

Also Honey ran into your mom in law at the store the other day. Fantastic news that she gave him. You guys must be so relieved, too.

We got our kitten yesterday. A little black ball of fluff. White chin and chest. Is BEYOND friendly and playful. We put her in our room and she wanted no part of being in there by herself. Where are "her" new people!!! She learned within hours how to climb the gate so now we have to keep the door shut. She figured how in about 10 minutes to climb the blankets to the bed. When we went to sleep last night because the blankets weren't in her grasp, we figured she would be okay. She was MAD! After a few tries she made a running start and with a few bounds landed on the bed but because she had so much momentun not only did she climb the bed but right over Honey's back, little claws and all!!!! Needless to say, he was QUITE surprised. I think we paid for a kitty bed for nothing. We put her in it and she crawls out only to sleep inbetween the pillows... or snuggles down on Honey's side of the bed. It's adorable!

Anyway... I have to work tomorrow. I got Rita's permission to bring Pumpkin along with me. Rita said that perhaps if Pumpkin did a little work herself, perhaps while I worked on my leading skills a saddle would somehow appear and she could go along for the ride.

Have an awesome weekend!!!! I admit, I was glad for the rain, but I am ready again for a little sunshine, aren't you??? Good grief. I do hate to complain, but no sun all week is just... grrrr... Enough said???? tee hee!!!

Cheers! ~MacKenzie

Thanks Anexplorer, so far so good it's still working. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays working.

Hi Mac, yeah Sweetie seems to be doing pretty well up here. He certainly has fewer bad days up here than when at his Mom's. He doesn't like being at her house or at my Mom's either for that matter. Reason being, it's not home. He feels like a guest in those two places and it doesn't feel right. It's different at your house though (in a good way hehe).

Your kitty sounds adorable, I can't wait to meet her. :) Have you chosen a name for her yet? Speaking of kitties, I can't believe the change in George! He's totally at home here and is his old playful self. It's so wonderful that we got the "real" George back. I'm sure it has everything to do with Alex not being around and the fact that these cats are the first 2 in this apartment so there were no smells of previous cats like there was in the Brewer apartment (the 2nd time). He's sitting on my printer right now and he's squinting his eyes and twitching his nose. lol

I'm really happy to hear how well things are going over at Rita's. :) Sounds like a good move for you. :)
