Got my estimate about my car!

I got a call about my car.

As you can tell from my picture, I'm happy. It's not going to cost me $1,000 it's only going to cost me $320. These people checked my car a lot more thoroughly. I need 1 new tire, new wiper blades, and the motor for my left rear window replaced. I could have my car back by the end of the day or tomorrow at the latest. How cool is that? :D I'm super excited. I have to go to the bank and the post office and the gym. I'm so happy, this is much more manageable. I actually have the funds for this now.

WOOO HOOO!

Oh and I have a funny for you, I went to my first visit at my new chiropractors office only to find out at the end of my visit that my fly was down! YIKES!!! I'm super embarrased about that.

Some Garth Brooks For Your Day

Well I was checking out some scrap kits and downloading a bunch and one of the blogs had a playlist. I'd seen these before and thought, well heck, I'll make one of my own. I made one with a bunch of Garth Brooks songs on them. He was my first favorite country artist. I didn't pick all the songs they had (they didn't even have most of my favorites) but I thought maybe you guys would like to listen to him tonight. :) So here he is. I didn't set it to autoplay because that just drives me nuts. I'm giving you the OPTION to listen. If you don't want to, don't. :)

Tomorrow I'm going to get a second opinion on my car. I hope that these people can fix it a lot cheaper. I've used them in the past and they are very reliable and their prices were good at that point. Wish me luck and keep your fingers crossed.

I don't know what to do...

I can't drive my car legally but I need to. I want to get another estimate. I want to go to the place that fixed my car the last time it had problems. I'm hoping that they could do a payment plan for me, its the only way I could get it done. I don't ask for much but if you guys pray please send some prayers my way. :( Everything was really starting to come together too. I was in such a great mood after the whole cable hookup this morning. Things were just starting to look good, then THIS happens. I'll tell you this though, I will NEVER bring my car to VIP for inspections again. They are out for blood!!

As soon as my supper is done and I've eaten I'll be going home. My MIL is making me some corn chowder. We're also going to have some southwestern chicken wings (vegetarian) and my Sweetie is going to have a baked potato.

Why does this shit happen to good people?

I think I'm going to cry :(

Well this morning started off great. The cable man came and hooked us up and we are faster than I thought we'd ever be able to be.

Then we went to go get my car inspected and it failed. It's going to cost over $1,000 to get it fixed. My car is a 1990 Toyota Camery with less than 100,000 miles on it. It's barely been used. This car has got to be a lemon. The question now is, is it worth getting it fixed?

Then we went to the YMCA to get our membership cards and we were told we qualified for the free scholarship. Well it's only a partial, so we have to pay $22 a month for our gym memberships. To some this is nothing but to us...

Then we go to the grocery store and they have barely any vegetarian meats there. :( So we'll have to go to Bangor later which isn't far but it's still a pain in the butt.

Then instead of going to counseling today we are going back near my Sweetie's MIL because my Sweetie has to have emergency dental work done. So we might not get to the grocery store after all.

I've got a very busy day ahead of me...

Our cable and cable internet is getting installed today. The guy is supposed to be here between 7am and noon. It's 8:22 and he's not here yet. I hope he comes soon, I want him to be finished before noon. At noon I have to go get my car inspected. I only have to go up to VIP which is just a few minutes away. Then I have to do my weekly groceries. At 3 o'clock we have our weekly counseling that used to be on Thursdays. Now we only have to travel a few minutes to get there instead of just over an hour. Much better. :D

I released my first scrap kit last night and it's a hit so far. :) I can't wait to see people using it. :) I think I'll go work on my 2nd kit. :) I've already got a couple pieces to it done. :) Maybe if I get totally engrossed into something the cable guy will arrive? Isn't that how it always is? lol We can hope. :D
