Becoming Cerelia

 To Women Who Read

Got this one from my mother in law. :)

One morning, after several hours of fishing, a husband returns the boat to the lakeside cottage and decides to take a nap.

Although not familiar with the lake, his wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance, anchors, puts her feet up, and begins to read her book. The peace and solitude are magnificent.

Along comes a Fish and Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, 'Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?'

'Reading a book,' she replies, (thinking: isn't that obvious).

'You're in a Restricted Fishing Area,' he informs her.

'I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading.'

'Yes, but I see you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up.'

'If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault,' says the woman.

'But I haven't even touched you,' says the Game Warden.

'That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment.'

'Have a nice day ma'am,' and he left.

MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also think.

I hope you all have a wonderful day :)

 I'm Home

Hey guys, I'm home finally.  Got home yesterday actually but I'm still trying to get caught up with things.  I'm still way behind but I'll get there.  I've got so much cleaning and picking up things and putting things away from our little trip.  Also, I really need to get a new pay scrap kit out.  I've only got 2 so far, and I need another.

I wanted to share this saying that my mother in law sent me.  I've seen this passed around before and thought it was worth a good laugh or 2.  :)

This is the tale all little girls should have been told when they were little.  lol

Once upon a time in a land far away,
A beautiful, independent, Self-assured princess
Happened upon a frog as she sat
Contemplating ecological issues
On the shores of an unpolluted pond
In a verdant meadow near her castle.

The frog hopped into the princess' lap
And said: ' Elegant Lady,
I was once a handsome prince,
Until an evil witch cast a spell upon me.

One kiss from you, however,
And I will turn back
Into the dapper, young prince that I am

And then, my sweet, we can marry
And set up housekeeping in your castle
With my mother,
Where you can prepare my meals,
Clean my clothes, bear my children,
And forever feel grateful and happy doing so.'

That night,
As the princess dined sumptuously
On lightly sauteed frog legs
Seasoned in a white wine
And onion cream sauce,
She chuckled and thought to herself:
I don't f----n' think so.

I thought you guys might like that one.  :)

Going away for a few days

I got a busy weekend ahead of me. Tomorrow I'm leaving town to go to my mother in laws house to help her set up the pool on Saturday. That's going to be a bitch to set up because we have to lug it up from the basement. The setup paperwork says it needs at LEAST 5 adults to set it up. We have 3, a strong guy, a weak gal and his mother who has a very sore back but is very stubborn. We did it last year and will do it again this year. Then on Sunday morning we are leaving to go down to my mother's for a few days. We are not taking our laptops or anything so it could get quite boring. My Sweetie has an appointment in either Westbrook or Portland Tuesday morning so that's why we are staying with my mom as we can't afford a hotel and she'd love to have us. :) I'll also get to visit my grandmother who isn't doing too well again. She had a pacemaker put into her heart last month and with her recent med changes she's very uncomfortable and wants it out. The doctor wants her to try to hang on and let them sort things out before jumping to wanting it out again. If they can't normalize everything (if that's even a word lol) then they'll have to take it out. My grandmother is in her 70s and not in the best physcial condition or health. So if you pray, I'd appreciate any prayers you can spare for her. I'll be back home Tuesday night sometime.

 I'm Sorry

Hi guys, I wanted to stop by and let you know why I haven't been posting a lot.  Lately I've been moody and on an emotional rollar coaster.  It's almost that time of the month for me but that's not all of it.  It's been going on longer than I've been taking the meds to induce my period.  I don't know what is going on but something is up.  I find myself getting irritated easily and for no real reason.  I feel so bad because I don't want to feel this way.  I feel bad because I am mean to my Sweetie and I don't want to treat him the way I do.  He's good to me though, he's being really understanding and going on of his way to do nice things for me.  I'm so lucky to have him in my life and I am thankful of that every day, even on the bad days.  I don't know if my anti-depressant is off or what.  I see my doctor in about a month, I've tried to get an appointment sooner than that but she is all full up.  It's very hard to see my doctor and I will probably have to change to a doctor closer to where I'm living now.  It's too bad because I really like her and she does what I need to.  I'm hoping I can find a female doctor that will do what I need her to do.

Well now I have lost my train of thought... Ah well... it is afternoon...  I hope you all have a good day.  :)
