Becoming Cerelia

 I haven't posted a quiz in awhile...

So I thought I would find one for you. :)   I got the complete series of Charmed for Christmas so I've been watching Charmed.  So this quiz should be no surprise.  :D

 Another Christmas is over...

And that's not a bad thing. The sad thing is putting away Christmas decorations and I don't want to put them away yet. So I won't. LOL

I really missed my dad this year, it's weird some days I think about him all day other times I don't think of him at all and then when I go a day without thinking about him I feel really bad. :( I mean is that normal?

Well it's afternoon and my sweetie is taking a nap, our company has left and now it's time to wind down. I'm a tad bit jittery, could be the really big lunch I had then the big hot chocolate. Could be just the winding down or could be my high blood sugar levels. I tested after lunch and it was 222. It's supposed to be between 80 and 120. I know I took it quickly after lunch but still it was too high. Right after a meal it should be around 140 and 150. So I need to get my sugars under control. I'm on medicine for that but I don't take it regularly. I'm supposed to take it twice a day and I'm lucky if I take it once a day. I've also been out of control with the holiday foods. My mother-in-law has outdone herself and there's a ton of great food. It's just so fattening. LOL Ah well, I'll do better once New Years is over.

I heard that there will be a Curves opening in the next town and Mac and I might join together. She wants to go twice a week and I know that's not enough to make a huge difference, in order to make a huge difference I've got to exercise daily, well 6 out of 7 days at least. So I guess that will be my new years resolution. I'll do the best I can with my bum shoulder.

I hope you all had a super fabulous Christmas and that things are slowly getting back to a good normal for you all.

Anyone have any fun plans for New Years?

I've tried posting this all day and I keep getting sidetracked and my post keeps getting lost. Luckily I do a cut and paste each time I try so I haven't lost anything.

Merry Christmas To My Friends on Blogstream!

Today I went shopping again, had to get the rest of the food we needed for Christmas dinner and enough to last us the rest of the visit while our company is coming (they are arriving Sunday morning). It's going to be stressful while they are here because our schedules are going to be out of whack and I won't get to do what I want when I want and dammit I'm going to have to wear a bra. LOL I don't wear one at home usually because it hurts my shoulder.

Tomorrow is going to be crazy I've got a HUGE list of stuff I absolutely need to get done. I wanted to wait last minute so everything would start out clean. We'll see how that goes. My list so far has 14 items on it. I've recruited everyone to help.

I may not get to pop on until after they leave but we'll see. If I don't get to pop on then I want to wish everyone a very happy and very safe new year.

Take care everyone!

 Holy Crap! :)

Hey guys, I got the best Christmas gift yesterday while we were out shopping. At least best by materials standards lol. My laptop has been on the fritz and we knew it's not going to be lasting for long. So we were planning on getting new computers when my Sweetie got his backpay checks from Social Security. Well with our laptops in their current state we weren't sure that we would last until the checks got here, so Sweetie's mom prepaid for them. :) We'll give her the backpay checks. We have these cool 22" widescreen monitors too! It's so weird going from my laptop to this one. I'm so happy right now I've got this permanent grin on my face. You should have seen us coming out of Best Buy yesterday with 2 computers, 2 monitors, and 2 printers (they came with the computers - if we didn't take the printers it would have cost more money). So we'll probably sell the printers as we don't need them. We'll keep the laptops for when we travel. :)

It's snowing here! It's been snowing for about 6 hours or so, we've gotten a few inches but hard to tell because it's also very windy.

Well I'm going to go do some work on the desktop still has A LOT of setting up to do. You guys take care, stay safe and warm. :)

 My Wedding Day

Per request I'm going to share with you my wedding day. The date was June 21, 2001, the first day of summer. The time was... early... very early. My sweetie and I got up and got ready to go, we had to be on the Mountain before Sunrise. We went to Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park to be married right after we watched the sunrise. It was chilly, very foggy, and extremely windy. I was lucky in the fact that I didn't have to worry about doing my hair, I just tied it back as much as I possibly could because I didn't want it flying everywhere in the wind. Once everyone arrived (there were about 20 of us there in all), we moved to "The Spot" we had chosen. A friend of ours (Mac's hubby) video taped the ceremony (which I'm really sad to say I've lost it in all the moves we've done) and took some photos (those I have proudly displayed on my wall ). My sweetie's brother performed the ceremony. My brother in law had traced their ancestors to Scotland, they are from the clan Buchanan (spelling is probably wrong and I THINK that's what the clan name is, I'd have to verify it with my brother in law and he's not online right now). We had a scottish/pagan hand fasting ceremony.

We watched the sunrise which the sky had miraculously cleared up and then got married. We had our pictures done and then we all left. Keep in mind this was around 5am at this point, possibly sooner, I can't remember. (Some people had a 4 hour drive to get there!) We all decided we were hungry so we went to Denny's for breakfast. Not everyone came, some people just went home. Those that stayed had breakfast and then we went back to our apartment to kill some time before the real reception (if you could call it that lol). We went to lunch at our favorite chinese restaurant (Asian Palace) which is no longer there (sad story). In between breakfast and lunch my sweetie and I had to go to a Notary Public to get the legal ceremony taken care of. So we did that, we were supposed to have my friend C. (my friend that I've had the longest), and my brother in law stand up for us but my brother in law slept through it. LOL So my C. and my aunt stood up for us. It was short and sweet.

When we went to lunch, we had a section of the restaurant reserved for us. We had a great lunch, and then we had cake. After that we went home. :) The next day we went to The Great Escape theme park (part of Six Flags) in New York for the weekend. We had a blast.

So that was my wedding and my honeymoon. Probably way more than you wanted to know but there ya go. :)

I hope you all have a fabulous day. :)
