I think that's a new word. LOL After all that commotion about this winter storm warning all we got was some rain. It didn't even ice over, the roads are fine and DRY today. I'm sure some areas may have flooded but I haven't heard anything. Course I don't have cable yet so I can't watch the news or weather report and I haven't bothered to check online yet either. I figure if something big happens or something important someone will tell me. Some may call this irresponsible, but you know what, I call it, "Why make myself more depressed than I am". I don't go searching for depressing news if I don't have to. That's just my motto. I've got enough to deal with in my life.

I've got the apartment pretty much set up the way I want to now. We just need to bring up a few more things from Addison and we'll be all set. :) I'm also really proud of myself as I've been doing really good keeping up with the dishes and the messes. I do dishes 1 or 2 times a day and I pick things up as the day goes so I won't need to spend 2 days picking things up and cleaning because company is coming. I've also been washing the kitchen counters and stove daily often times multiple times a day. I do it every time I do dishes or I see a mess. Now for some people this is common sense and what normal people do, well I'm not normal, I'm a very lazy person who normally puts things off as much as possible. So for me keeping up with the housework and stuf is good.

Sweetie is making me brownies right now. :D He's so sweet! :D

Well I'm going to go play in Paint Shop Pro for awhile and try a few new tutorials. :) I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend and are warm, safe, and dry.

We ended up only staying one night in Addison as we are supposed to get a big storm tonight and didn't want to get stuck down there. So far it's only raining up here nothing too bad. We might go out to the store soon, all depends on if we feel like it. Technically we got enough food in the house so we don't have to but you never know, we might want something that we don't have.

Last night my Sweetie had a really rough time at his mother's. He felt horrible and I'm not talking in the physicall sense. He didn't have a cold or anything but emotionally he was a wreak. He hates going back there now so it's going to be really rough when I want to go there to get some stuff or hang out with friends. I had to drug him up pretty good so he didn't hurt himself. Drugged him up enough that he wasn't able to drive back here I had to, which actually worked better because we had so much stuff in the car that I had to move the seat foward some. That's right, I said car, we have my car back. Unfortunately the inspection ran out sometime last year (probably around September or so) so I have to call around on Monday to try to get an appointment to get it inspected. I had to replace the battery on the car before we could get it running which wasn't cheap because my Sweetie does not skimp on batteries, he got the most powerful one for my car that he could.

I've already got pretty much everything unpacked that we brought with us this time. I just have to have my Sweetie hang a few things on the wall and I have to put my clean laundry away. The cats are doing great. Gracie is sleeping in her bed that we brought up this time and is really happy to have it. We couldn't bring the cat tree up because it wouldn't fit in my car with all the other stuff we were bringing, so like last week we've got boxes stacked up with the bed on top so she can look out the window. She's sound asleep! Earlier I heard her puking and I was not thrilled where I found her. She was under the bed at the head of the bed in the middle! We had to lift up the mattress and both boxsprings (we have a king size bed) only to find that while it sounds like she puked there wasn't anything there.... I haven't seen George recently but it's highly likely that he's just under the bed sound asleep.

Well it sounds like we are going to run to the store. I prefer cereal most days for breakfast and we are just about out so we'll go pick up some more.

You Should Rule Mars

Mars is a planet that shines brightly and loops wildly around the solar system. You are perfect to rule Mars, because you are both energetic and independent. Today is just one of those days that I'm feeling overwhelmed and underwhelmed (is that a word? I mean the opposite of overwhelmed anyway) at the same time. I can create a list of stuff I want to do but when I get it going I just freeze and can't function. I think I need a break. I really just feel like vegging out on the couch watching Gilmore Girls but my Sweetie also likes this show and he's not in the mood to watch it. :/ I tried reading but I couldn't get into the book. I'm kinda hungry... but I can wait awhile before supper... I don't really know what I want.

I just don't know what I want to do today...

Ah well, maybe you guys are having a more productive day.
